FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE COUNSELING?

We conduct most of our counseling sessions in-person in our offices. However, with prior arrangement, we can meet you at your home or place of business. If necessary, counseling sessions can be conducted via Telehealth.

HOW LONG ARE THERAPY SESSIONS?

The first session is called an "intake" and it typically lasts 75 minutes. We collect important information that will help us to develop goals and a personalized plan of treatment. Subsequent sessions are typically 45-60 minutes. During these sessions, we work together to achieve your goals through listening, practicing effective coping skills, and encouraging the use of these skills outside of session.

HOW DO I GET TO YOUR OFFICE?

 

If coming from the Cleveland area, take I-77 S toward Akron to the I-80/Ohio Turnpike exit, EXIT 146, toward Youngstown/Toledo. Keep right to take the OH-21 ramp toward Brecksville/Richfield. Take the Brecksville Rd S ramp toward Richfield and turn right onto Brecksville Rd. Drive 1.96 miles, and look for 3928 Brecksville Rd, which is located on the right.

If coming from Akron/Canton, take I-77 N toward Cleveland and merge onto OH-176/Wheatley Rd via EXIT 143 toward Richfield/Furnace Run Metro Park. Drive 0.95 miles and turn right onto Brecksville Rd. Drive 1.56 miles, and look for 3928 Brecksville Rd, which is located on the left. 


IS THERE FREE PARKING?

Yes, we have a spacious parking lot and parking is free.

IS YOUR BUILDING HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, the building is handicap accessible.

CAN I BRING MY PET TO COUNSELING?

Certified therapy animals are welcomed into sessions.
