Sarah Knisely

Sarah Knisely is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over ten years of experience counseling individuals, couples and families. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.

Following the completion of her Masters Degree, Sarah spent four years serving as an Intensive Home-Based Treatment Counselor, a role that allowed her to develop her passion and skills for treating families as she provided family counseling, parenting skills coaching, and advocacy services for youth and their families. Sarah has experience helping individuals and families address a variety of behavioral, emotional and relationship needs, but she is particularly skilled in family counseling, youth counseling, including behavioral counseling, and working with individuals with anxiety and depression.

Sarah places a high priority on partnering with her clients to determine goals for the counseling experience, and she is committed to bringing her experience and expertise to bear in shaping a plan to achieve those goals. She is also passionate about helping clients bring their faith into the counseling room in order to allow their spirituality to drive healing and growth.

When she is not counseling, Sarah enjoys hiking, weight lifting, cooking, reading, leading Bible Studies and spending time with her husband and son.
